Dr. Deans is a leading authority on the Radon transform and its applications. His publications include a pioneer monograph (Wiley, 1983) on that topic and a revised version published by (Krieger, 1993). He has recently completed a major contribution for (CRC Press, 2000) on Radon and Abel Transforms that appears in the second edition of The Transforms and Applications Handbook. His publications and invited talks demonstrate a wide variety of interests and expertise. Recent achievements are covered in the selected publications.
